Authentic Homemaking (An Update to Real Life Homemaking)
Two weeks ago I started a really fun new weekly feature called Real Life Homemaking Thursdays! It’s not a weekly blog series or anything, but rather a chance for of all us on Facebook and Instagram to share our real lives together. It’s simply a place to gather where we can encourage each other that our real lives won’t look Pinterest-perfect.
It’s a place where we can encourage each other when our sink is piled high with dishes and you can’t even see your couch because it’s covered with laundry. Why? Because this is real, authentic life! You don’t have to be perfect super mom with a beautifully cleaned home to be an effective homemaker.
Introducing Authentic Homemaking Thursday
Well know I have to share an update. Real Life Homemaking Thursday is transforming into Authentic Homemaking Thursday! It will still look exactly the same but now you use hashtag: #authentichomemaking instead!
One of my very favorite bloggers and growing friend, Lisa, from Club 31 Women actually has a series called Real Life Homemaking! It’s a category within her blog – and she has some amazing articles on homemaking if you want to check her out!!
So to avoid any confusion (and because I didn’t realize it at the time), the name of my weekly feature is changing to Authentic Homemaking!
I want to apologize to Lisa for the confusion and I want to send you ALL over to her blog if you don’t yet know who she is 🙂 You can find her blogging at Club 31 Women. (Plus sometime next week you will see an article from me over on her blog…)
Join me over on Facebook and Instagram each Thursday for Authentic Homemaking Thursdays!!
