December 15, 2015 my husband had his last day of his corporate job. It’s been almost a year now that Jason and I have been running our ministry together full time. 

It’s been a full and busy year – and so amazing! When I started blogging seven years ago, I never imaged that I would make more than $100 a month from it, let alone that it would one day become our family’s full time income! But God is so good and he leads us down paths that we didn’t even know existed. 

After our 3rd annual Homemaking Ministries Online Conference in October, I’ve been getting a TON of emails about starting a blog, starting a ministry online, how to make a little side money from home, etc. 

Homemaking and caring for my family all for God’s Glory is obviously a HUGE passion of mine. It’s my mission and direction in life. But somewhere along the last seven years, I also stumbled into another passion: BLOGGING and working from home. 

I could talk about blogging and making an income from home all day long. So now that I’ve been getting question after question about how we run our business and how to get started, I knew I needed to start sharing about this more. But I never want this side passion to take over my main mission and goal here at Young Wife’s Guide which is Gospel-Centered Homemaking. 

So if you are reading this and don’t care one lick about blogging or working from home, no problem! Happily ignore this and YWG will remain the same.
