As a busy wife and mom to five young kids – my spiritual life can sometimes feel like a roller coaster! Some days I feel connected to God, I remember to pray, and I even fit in my Bible reading! 

 

Other days feel as dry as the Sahara Desert! I wonder why I don’t feel close to God, I struggle to make consistent habits of Bible reading and prayer, and sometimes I just don’t know where to start with it all! 

 

No matter your season or stage of life, no matter if you are a brand new Christian, or have been one for decades – one thing is true: it can be tough to dig deeper into God’s Word. And then sometimes, even when we do form consistent habits and discipline ourselves to be in the Word, it can be hard to learn to actually enjoy being IN God’s Word! 

 

And that’s why Katie and I came together to create this incredible online conference! 

 

Teaching Through Jonah

The keynote speakers for this year’s conference are Chris and Katie Orr! Chris is the lead pastor at their Church in Florida and has his doctorate in ministry. Katie is an amazing Bible teacher with a passion for teaching women how to study God’s Word on a deeper level.

And together they are doing 6 keynote presentations during the conference all based on the book of Jonah. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never done an in-depth study on the book of Jonah and I am really excited about it! I can’t wait to go through the keynote sessions.

(Plus, aside from the keynote sessions, we have 19 other incredible breakout sessions that range from deeply theological to intensely practical and everything in between!)

How the conference works: 

This brand new conference will look and feel similar to our annual homemaking conferences but we are throwing in a few fun new surprises (so make sure to follow along as we get closer to May)! 

May 2-4, 2018

The live portion of the conference will be the first week of May. On the 1st we will be holding our famous pajama kick off party in the private Facebook group which is a really fun party with a bunch of giveaways, live video, and hanging out. It’s the perfect way to kick off an amazing week. 

Then each day that week, new sessions will go live throughout the day. You can jump in and participate in one, two, all, or none of the sessions depending on your busy schedule. In between the sessions we will have LIVE discussions and chats with the speakers for diving even deeper. The live portion of the conference is always a BLAST! 

What if I can’t attend live?

If you are going to be busy during that week, or you live in a time zone that doesn’t work well, or you miss out on a few sessions here and there…no worries! 

Once each session gets posted for the day, you can watch it anytime! We give you the option to stream the video from the website (on any device with internet), or download the video to watch offline, or download the much smaller audio file to listen later (this is a great option for those with slower internet). 

So even if you can’t watch one or any of the live sessions, no problem! Jump in anytime and watch when you can (even if that’s in three months)!!
