One area I was very confused about was sugar and artificial sweeteners. One of the things that led me to a whole foods diet was discovering how much sugar is in our diet. My husband and I had begun a new diet where we couldn’t have more than 15g of sugar in a day. Seems simple right? Actually in just one 6oz carton of yoplait yogurt there is 27g of sugar!! This led me down a path of discovering how much sugar is really in our food.
So naturally my second discovery was with artificial sweeteners. If you have too much sugar in your diet then just go with the “sugar free” options right?? What are healthy alternatives?
