Our Family Update
2013 help the some of the happiest moments in my life and also some of the hardest. My faith grew more this year than I ever thought possible!
On December 26, 2012 we welcomed our twin bundles of joy into our home: Our twin boys Malachi & Micah! We got to welcome them into this world in 2012 but most of their lives have been over 2013. This past year I got to watch my boys grow into toddlers.
We got to see our boys first smiles, first teeth, start eating solid food, start to crawl, take their first steps, hear their first words, and celebrate their first birthday! It’s been such an incredible journey into motherhood…and all of this happened before I turned 24. I feel so beyond blessed and these moments with my boys this year have been incredible.
Sadly, in November, my mother unexpectedly passed away at the age of 47. As it’s not even been two months since she passed away, we are still working through and dealing with this loss. But through it all, God’s love and His grace has been so evident! He has been my strength through this all and I know our family will be able to move forward in His strength! And thank you to all of those who have been praying for us during all of this. I am the oldest of four kids and have three younger brothers. My youngest brother is only 16 and this has been rough on all of us.
Moving into 2014
Throughout everything we have been through this year, the ups and the downs, the highs and the lows, I am more confident than ever that I need to rely on God’s strength, His Mercy, and His Grace to live out this life. I am more committed than ever to striving towards being a godly wife, mother, friend, and servant of Christ!
